 The Y.O.U.T.H. Program, Inc. was founded by Debbie Mancuso, who has a love for youth and animals. She feels a strong commitment to them and the community. As a result, her family purchased a 10-acre farm, which is now known as the “Shady Pines Farm”. The farm was purchased with the hope and expectation of helping the community - especially our youth. Over the years they have held fundraisers, hosted picnics, Halloween parties and field trips. The program ran privately for seven years and in 2003 became a nonprofit organization. Today, the youth program provides educational and recreational activities to the youth of York County, Pennsylvania.
Our Mission Statement:
The Y.O.U.T.H. Program, Inc. is committed to providing a safe, supervised and fun atmosphere for youth, animals, and community. By selecting mentors that are interested in the youth as individuals, we hope to inspire them to believe in themselves, utilize their skills and turn their dreams into a reality. We will provide projects and programs that not only work for the enrichment of youth in our community but also give back to the community.
